Enduring Light will invite audiences to fan the spark of inspiration into a lasting flame. The program will feature two large works for chorus, piano, and string orchestra. Ola Gjeilo’s Sunrise Mass will tell the story of triumph after struggle, and Elaine Hagenberg’s Illuminare, will take audiences through “a season of beauty and goodness that has been disrupted by darkness and confusion, but as Light gradually returns, hope is restored, illuminating our future and guiding us in peace.” (Elaine Hagenberg)
Venue Accessibility Information:
Attendees should expect to park in either the Plymouth Church parking lot across Berry Street to the North of the church, or as needed in the Trinity English Lutheran lot immediately south of the church. The Plymouth lot has 4 wheelchair accessible spaces, and there are 4 more wheelchair accessible spaces in a small side lot on the West side of the church, accessible via the Trinity lot. For patrons with limited mobility, the West entrance to the church has a small covered loading and unloading area; there is also a ramp-accessible entrance on the North side of the church. The performance will take place in the Sanctuary which is on the first floor and is fully accessible to wheelchairs and other mobility assistance devices.
