The Most Ambitious Season in Heartland Sings History.

Heartland Sings celebrates thirty years of bringing world-class vocal artistry to Fort Wayne with a 2026–27 season that is bigger, more ambitious, and more varied than anything we have done before. Two full series. Ten concerts. And music that will stay with you long after the final note fades.

Our Signature Series: Cinematic Voices takes you on a four-concert journey through the music of the silver screen — from the choral worlds of beloved fantasy films to a holiday tradition at one of Fort Wayne's most magnificent venues, from a world-premiere documentary concert rooted right here in our own community to a full chorus-and-orchestra season finale that brings cinema's greatest scores to life. Four concerts, four completely different experiences, and one season built around the conviction that great music — wherever it comes from — has the power to move us.

Our Recital Series brings six intimate afternoons to the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Center Ballroom, each one a world unto itself. Art song and film music. Duo piano and theatrical storytelling. A journey to the Arctic and a joyful celebration of spring. These are the concerts where Heartland Sings gets personal — small stages, world-class artists, and performances you will not find anywhere else in Fort Wayne.

This is where Heartland Sings gets personal.

The Recital Series gathers some of the finest vocal and instrumental artists in the region for six intimate Sunday afternoons at the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Center Ballroom. Begin the season with a hushed, atmospheric journey through the music of sleep and dreams. Laugh, sing along, and relive your favorite movie moments with baritone David Bobay. Marvel at what happens when two brilliant pianists sit down at the keyboard together and let the music take them somewhere unexpected. Bear witness to a true story of courage and tragedy, brought to life with the full force of theatre and song. Let soprano Renee Gonzales take you on a personal tour of New York City through the films that made it famous. And close out the year with the irresistible sounds of spring, sung and played by artists who make it feel like the season's first warm day.
