Mezzo-soprano Alejandra Sandoval-Montañez and pianist Reggie Berg explore the nocturnal hours — memories, dreams, and restless thoughts — through art song in English and Spanish, including a complete performance of Jonathan Dove's breathtaking song cycle "All you who sleep tonight."

Pure Imagination invites audiences into the rich choral worlds of fantasy film, featuring beloved music from The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Harry Potter, and The Chronicles of Narnia. From the haunting depth of the Misty Mountains to the soaring lament of Gandalf's passing, from the mischievous charm of Hogwarts to the wonder of a world always winter and never Christmas, this concert celebrates the composers who gave our most beloved imaginary worlds their sound. Performed with small band accompaniment, Pure Imagination is an evening for dreamers of all ages.

Canto de Corazón is Heartland Sings' community choir dedicated to celebrating Hispanic cultural heritage and building language skills in Spanish and English. The choir performs free community concerts throughout the season, from a festive Christmas celebration to a joyful Cinco de Mayo program.

Dominick Argento's The Andreé Expedition recounts the true story of Swedish explorers Salomon Andreé, Knut Frænkel, and Nils Strindberg — three men who perished in their 1897 quest to reach the North Pole by hydrogen balloon. Drawing from the explorers' real diary and journal entries, this production features tenor Seth Allen and pianist Reggie Berg, alongside costumes, sets, original expedition photographs, and incidental music composed by Reggie Berg. A dramatic, fully staged performance inspired by the film Flight of the Eagle, The Andrée Expedition will take you on a journey unlike anything you’ve seen in a recital.

Fort Wayne is home to one of the most remarkable immigrant communities in the Midwest — and most of us have yet to hear its story. In partnership with Amani Family Services, No Longer Strangers pairs a world-premiere documentary film, produced by PBS, with an evening of choral music to illuminate the journey, resilience, and enduring spirit of the immigrant communities who have made Northeast Indiana their home. From the earliest resettlements to the vibrant neighborhoods, restaurants, and families thriving here today, this concert asks a simple but urgent question: what does it truly mean to know your neighbor? The music — spanning ancient psalm settings to contemporary works — doesn't just accompany the story. It becomes part of it.
