In partnership with Amani Family Services, No Longer Strangers pairs a world-premiere documentary film, produced by PBS, with an evening of choral music to illuminate the journey, resilience, and enduring spirit of the immigrant communities who have made Northeast Indiana their home. From the earliest resettlements to the vibrant neighborhoods, restaurants, and families thriving here today, this concert asks a simple but urgent question: what does it truly mean to know your neighbor? The music — spanning ancient psalm settings to contemporary works — doesn't just accompany the story. It becomes part of it.
